Galleries Program Associate (1840)
Under the direction of the Director of Galleries and Public Programs, the Galleries Program Associate is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries program. This is an administrative position that requires the management of financial processing, vendor relations, database and archive maintenance, visitor relations, data collection, and the internship program. A strong arts administrative and management background, ability to work autonomously while supervising others, and ability to interact professionally with the general public, artists, and colleagues is essential for this position.

The Arts Commission offers unpaid volunteer opportunities for individuals who are interested in gaining work experience in the arts. Volunteers will assist staff with a variety of tasks including archiving, research, and events.
